Sarah Hyland

Sarah Hyland was the daughter of actors Melissa D. Canaday (New York City) and Edward James Hyland (New York City). When she was just four years old she got into the industry by doing voice overs as well as commercial work. Private Parts was her first film. She then moved on to The Object of My Affection (1998) followed by time on Another World (1964) as "Rain Wolfe" A child who was discovered in the park and fostered by Josie and Gary. Sarah would work with Amy Carlson ("Josie") for a few more episodes: Falcone (2000). Law & Order (1990). Law & Order: Trial by Jury (2005). Sarah was cast as one of the young "Audrey Hepburns" in Jennifer Love Hewitt's The Audrey Hepburn Story (2000) in the same year that she was also cast in the role of "Molly" in ABC's The Wonderful World of Disney: Annie (1999) with Kathy Bates, Audra McDonald, Alan Cumming, Victor Garber and Kristin Chenoweth. Joe Gould's Secret (2000) and Falcone (2000). Aside from all of her television and film work, Sarah studied voice, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, Theatre Dance, and performed in her tap and Theatre dance classes in "Reel to Real" at Lincoln Center as invited performers.A born and raised in New York, Sarah spent much of her time in television, film, and voice-overs for radio commercials in addition to traveling with her father, Edward James Hyland, and working at different theaters across the United States. Her mother raised her until she was 2 years old. of age. Then, she attended public schools. Sarah was accepted in 6th year to PPAS (Professional Performing Arts School) and stayed there until she graduated in 2008 Sarah at the time was 18, relocated to Los Angeles, CA, where she got as a pilot under the name "My American Family". Once she was accepted by the airline, the pilot's name changed into Modern Family (2009). Sarah currently portrays Haley Dunphy, the oldest Dunphy child. Modern Family (2009) has been awarded numerous times, including the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series.
