Sofia Margarita Vergara

Sofia Margarita Vergara, Spanish was born on the 10th of July, 1972. She is an actress, presenter, producer, model, and TV presenter from Colombia. Vergara was the highest paid actress on American television from 2013 to 2020.Vergara gained notoriety when hosting two television shows for Spanish-language TV network Univision in the mid-90s. Chasing Papi (2003) was Vergara's debut major acting role in English. In the following years, she starred featured in Four Brothers (2005), Tyler Perry's comedies Meet the Browns (2008) and Madea Goes to Jail (2009 which was nominated for an ALMA Award nomination). She first made her mark as Gloria Delgado–Pritchett on ABC's comedy show Modern Family in 2009. As a result of this role, she won four Golden Globe Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards. Vergara has also voiced roles in animated movies Happy Feet Two (2011). Escape from Planet Earth (2013). and The Emoji Movie (2018). Vergara was also the most-paid Hollywood actress of 2020[citation requiredfor 2020[citation needed]. Vergara is America's Got Talent judge since 2020. Vergara was raised in Barranquilla by an Roman Catholic couple.  Her mother, Margarita Vergara de Vergara was a domestic worker, as was her father. Julio Enrique Vergara Robayo was a cattle rancher for the meat industry. Her five siblings and many of her family members have referred to her as "Toti". Vergara was a former student at the National University of Colombia in dentistry. After that, she left for two years to pursue modeling opportunities and show business.
