Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos, a Canadian actress. She appeared in the Teletoon children's comedy series Majority Rules as Becky Richards. From 2009 to 2010, she played Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's comedy show Majority Rules! She played the role from 2009 until the year 2010. Annika Johnson was the character Annika on the A&E TV series Bates Motel. Spiridakos appeared as Detective Hailey Upton on the A&E TV drama Bates Motel. as Detective Hailey Upton, Spiridakos is the lead character. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba by George Spiridakos and Anastasia Spiridakos, Greek-born restaurant owners. She has two brothers. The family moved to her father's hometown, Skala, Greece south of Sparta only a few years after she was born in Canada. They returned to Canada in 1992. Spiridakos is deeply connected to her Greek roots and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos began acting when she was in junior high school and attended the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she graduated Oak Park High School in Winnipeg. Spiridakos relocated to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting, and within weeks landed her first television role that was a tiny part on Supernatural. She was a television actress for the next few years getting parts in Psych, The L Word, Hellcats and Bionic Woman. Spiridakos appeared in the TV film Goblin as well as the web-based series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She also was a regular on Being Human, as Brynn McLean, the werewolf. In 2009, Spiridakos received her first major role in Majority Rules! Canada, where she played 15 year old Becky Richards. Her feature film debut came in the year 2011 with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. In Kill for Me, she appeared alongside Katie Cassidy and Donal Logue. Spiridakos was Sammi in Rags which was the first Nickelodeon original movie. Spiridakos was then offered a part of the lead in Revolution in the role of Charlotte Matheson (survivor in the dystopian future) in NBC television. As she attended her first pilot season, she was a candidate for this role. Spiridakos produced the pilot in Atlanta and also filmed the first season in Wilmington, North Carolina. The actress was nominated for an Saturn Award for Best Actress on Television for her performance during the pilot and was defeated by Fringe's Anna Torv. The second season of the show was shot in Austin, Texas.
