Natalie dormer
Natalie Dormer
(born 11 February 1982) is an English actress. She has been awarded an Empire
Award and been nominated for two Gemini Awards, two Critics' Choice Awards, and
two Screen Actors Guild Awards. Dormer was born in Reading, Berkshire. She
gained notoriety in the role of Anne Boleyn, a part she played in the Showtime
series The Tudors (2008), which earned her widespread acclaim. In Sweet
Nothings (2010), she made her stage debut and she also played the Duchess Of York
in Madonna's W.E. (2011), Private Lorraine in Captain America The First Avenger
(2011). After Miss Julie (2012), at the Young Vic, was highly and praised.
Dormer was appreciated for her performances in After Miss Julie (2012) at the
Young Vic. She also played Irene Adler/Moriarty in CBS's Elementary (2013-15),
Sara Price Jess Price (2016, 2017) and Onica in The Dark Crystal: Age of
Resistance (2019). Her role as Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, a miniseries
about Penny Dreadful, was highly praised. Dormer was born in Reading,
Berkshire, England 11 February 1982. She was the daughter of Gary Dormer and
wife Claire Richards and sister of Mark Dormer and Samantha Dormer.
