Bonnie Schneider is meteorologist appearing on the various platforms of CNN and HLN. On March 30, 2012, Bonnie will be the expert on TV, executive and co-producer of a DIY NETWORK special entitled THE LAST HOUSE RESISTING. The book by Bonnie EXTREME WINTER came out in the UK by Palgrave Macmillan, on 31 January 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. When she was in Boston Schneider also contributed the entertainment and lifestyle reports as a special assignment reporter three days a week. The previous job she held was weekend meteorologist for WFOR-TV, Miami. She was employed in a variety of posts in meteorology and reporting within News 12 Long Island - the 24-hour news channel as well as WXII-TV, the NBC affiliate station in Winston-Salem. She was also a regular guest for The Saturday Early Show, she was meteorologist at CBS at New York City.
