Bonnie Schneider, a weather expert, is featured on CNN as well as HLN's different platforms. Additionally, she serves as co-executive producer and on-camera for the DIY NETWORK TV special called LAST HOUSE RUNNING that premiered March 30, 2012 The book by Bonnie EXTREME WINTER came out from Palgrave Macmillan, on 31 January 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. In Boston Schneider also contributed the entertainment and lifestyle reports as an assignment reporter for three days a week. She was the weekend weather forecaster for WFOR-TV Miami before moving to WB56. She worked in a variety of reporting and meteorology positions which included News 12 Long Island (a 24 hour cable TV news channel) and WXII TV in Winston-Salem. While in New York City, she was a fill-in weatherman for The Saturday Early Show for CBS.
