Melanie Jayne Lynskey
Melanie Jayne Lynskey was born 16 May
1977 in New Zealand. She is well-known for her unique role, with a soft voice
and a strong personality. She mostly appears in films that are independent. Her
nominations include: a New Zealand Film Award. A Hollywood Film Award. Sundance
Special Jury Award. Gotham Award. Golden Nymph Award. Critics Choice Award.
Screen Actors Guild Award nominations. Lynskey was a teen murderess who made
her debut in a film in Peter Jackson's Heavenly Creatures (1994). After moving
to the United States, she built a successful career in supporting roles in a
variety of big-budget and small-scale features, including Ever After (1998),
Detroit Rock City, But I'm a Cheerleader (both 1999), Coyote Ugly (2000),
Abandon, Sweet Home Alabama (both 2002) Shattered Glass (2003), Flags of Our

for the Gotham Award for Breakthrough Performer for her lead role as a
depressed divorcee in Hello I Must Be Going (2012), which was a pivotal moment
in her career. Her subsequent lead roles included Happy Christmas and We'll
Never Have Paris (all 2014), The Intervention (all 2016), Rainbow Time, Little
Boxes I'm Not At In This World Anymore (both 2017), Lady of the Manor (2021),
Sadie (2018) Sadie (2018) and Lady of the Manor (both 2018) established her
position as an important figure within the American independent film scene.
Lynskey's character of Rose on CBS' sitcom Two and a Half Men (1903-2015)
brought her recognition. She was a part of Togetherness from 2015 to the year
2016. She was nominated to win the 2015 Critics' Choice Television Award for
Best Supporting Artistress. Megan, as well as Beatrice in Cartoon Network's
Over the Garden Wall (2014) were the voices. (2016-2018). The actress was also
the protagonist in Molly Strand, the first season on Hulu's Castle Rock (2018).
